About our Journey!

Grace Bible Church’s vision is to create a transition home in Makeyevka, Ukraine (Donetsk region). It is reported that this region has the largest concentration of orphans in Ukraine. The trip for 2013 is scheduled for August 8th - 18th, 2013.

In Ukraine 10-15% of children who age out of a orphanage commit suicide before age 18. 60% of the girls are lured into prostitution. 70% of the boys become hardened criminals. Many of these children accept job offers that ultimately result in their being sold as slaves. Millions of girls are sex slaves today, simply because they were unfortunate enough to grow up as orphans.” -Home for Good Foundation.

James 1:27 defines pure faith as, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit the orphans and widow in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” There is no better testimony to a “Grace changed life”, than to change the life of a Ukrainian orphan.
